Training for an autumn marathon
An autumn marathon means your long runs fall in summer, so plan them for early mornings or evenings and carry fluid on warm days. The upside is lighter evenings, and race days that are usually cooler than your training.
Use the running pace calculator to work out your goal pace, and check the entry status on each listing before you start your plan.
